Nemeth Law attorneys discuss timely employment issues
Attorneys with Detroit-based management side labor and employment law firm Nemeth Law, P.C., made several presentations during the fourth quarter of 2015. The discussions covered a variety of employment law topics:
- Nemeth Law partner Deborah Brouwer appeared on Fox 2’s Job Shop with Murray Feldman on December 1st to discuss do’s and don’ts for hosting and attending work-related holiday parties.
- Patricia Nemeth, founder of Nemeth Law P.C., served as a panelist and a presenter at the 23rd annual Bernard Gottfried Memorial Labor Law Symposium on October 15th in Detroit. The topic was Joint Employer Status, Franchisors and Franchisees – Paying the Cost to be the Boss.
- Deborah Brouwer and Susan Koval, also a partner in the firm, presented Successfully Defending Unemployment Claims at Nemeth Law’s Raising the Bar, an educational series raising employer awareness of current issues in employment and labor law. The event took place on October 14th in Troy.
In addition, Nemeth Law’s video series covering timely topics in employment law including holiday party hosting tips for employers, dependent worker status in the gig economy and joint employer status, continues. Videos can be viewed on the Nemeth Law YouTube channel.
