Nemeth Law attorney to serve as panelist at Career Mastered Symposium; March 1 event will focus on leadership development and accelerating women’s careers
Anne Widlak, a partner at Detroit-based management side labor and employment law firm Nemeth Law, P.C., will serve as a panelist at the Career Mastered Leadership in Action Awards and Symposium on March 1. The event will take place at the Henry Hotel in Dearborn.
Widlak will be participating in a panel titled It’s a Powerful Time to be a Woman! 10 Leadership Tips to Accelerate Women’s Careers. Widlak and other panelists will address the topic of women’s leadership, career advancement, mentoring, and facing and overcoming career challenges. An attorney for more than 33 years, Widlak has successfully defended cases in state and federal courts involving a comprehensive array of claims, including workplace harassment, discrimination based on age, disability, sex, race, national origin and other protected categories, retaliation, violations of the Family and Medical Leave Act, wrongful discharge and intentional interference with an at-will employment relationship. She is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA), a trial lawyer honorary society comprised of less than one-half of one percent of lawyers in the United States. Widlak holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in English from Georgetown University. She holds a Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University School of Law.
