An engaged leader in the legal and non-profit communities, Brouwer is the immediate past president of the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel (MDTC); Member, State Bar of Michigan, American Bar Association and DRI; Chair of the Board of Directors of Assured Family Services; Chair of the Board of Trustees, Luella Hannan Memorial Foundation; and a member of the Michigan Supreme Court Historical Society/Advocates Guild. Brouwer holds a Juris Doctor from the Wayne State University School of Law, as well as Bachelor and Master degrees from the University of Michigan. In 2019, she was recognized by Crain’s Detroit Business as a Notable Women in Law, has been selected as a Michigan Super Lawyer since 2019 and appears in the Women’s Edition, and was named a 2020 Michigan ‘Go To Lawyer’ in business law and a ‘Woman in the Law’ honoree in 2018 by the legal trade publication, Michigan Lawyers Weekly.
Firm founder Patricia Nemeth, of counsel, has achieved Best Lawyers® recognition since 2010 and is marking her milestone 10th appearance in 2023.
