Nemeth Law founder named vice chair of Mosaic Theatre board
Nemeth Law, P.C., a Detroit-based labor and employment law firm, announced that founder Patricia Nemeth has been named vice chair of the board of Detroit-based Mosaic Youth Theatre, an award winning national model for arts education and youth development. Nemeth originally joined the Mosaic board in 2014.
Nemeth became acquainted with Mosaic through her daughter, now a senior in the BFA Guthrie theatre program at the University of Minnesota, who was a Mosaic member from 2007 to 2011.
“Serving on the Mosaic board has proven to be an excellent opportunity to give back to an organization that gave my daughter and so many other children and young adults such a rich experience in the arts, as well as opportunities to learn about discipline, time management and being their best selves,” Nemeth said. “I’m pleased to step into the role of board vice chair and expand my commitment to Mosaic and its mission.”
Long active in community and charitable efforts, Nemeth served for more than 10 years on the board of the not-for-profit child welfare agency, Vista Maria, prior to joining the Mosaic board. During her board tenure, including serving as board vice chair, Nemeth received Vista Maria’s Outstanding Board Leadership Award.
