Nemeth Law’s Erin Behler named an Up & Coming Lawyer
Nemeth Law, P.C., a Detroit-based management labor and employment law firm, is pleased to announce attorney, Erin Behler, has been named an Up & Coming Lawyer by Michigan Lawyers Weekly. The legal trade publication recognized 30 Michigan attorneys throughout the state with less than 10 years of legal experience, “who are establishing a name for themselves, go above and beyond, and display the ambition, drive, determination and accomplishments that set them apart among their peers.” An award ceremony to honor the Up & Coming Lawyers will take place on Thursday, December 4th at the Detroit Marriott in Troy, Michigan.
Behler joined Nemeth Law in 2009 as an attorney after starting with the firm as a law clerk in 2007. She focuses her practice on management labor and employment law and represents clients in litigation before State and Federal Courts and Administrative Agencies. She also conducts workplace investigations and trains employers on avoiding discrimination and harassment in the workplace, as well as other employment issues. Behler is a frequent author on articles regarding workplace employment trends. She holds a Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Michigan State University.
Behler is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Federal Bar Association (Co-Chair of the RISE Committee), the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel, the Voice of the Defense Bar, and the Detroit Regional Chamber (Chair of Leads to Business); she is a Detroit Economic Club Young Leader. In addition to being named an Up & Coming Lawyer, Behler was also recognized as a Michigan Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2013 and 2014.
